The Challenger Division is an adaptive baseball program for players with physical or intellectual challenges. All skill levels welcome.

Coaching positions for 2026 are filled, but we still need parent volunteers. Any adult who interacts with players must register, pass a background check, and complete the Little League Abuse Awareness Training.

The Abuse Awareness Training is a free ~45 min online course through Little League University.

Umpire Registration

RNLL is looking for umpires for the 2026 season. Players who have aged out of Little League and adults are both welcome. Our Umpire in Chief will reach out after you register to discuss training and availability.

⚾ Baseball

T-BallAges 4–5
Co-ed. Hitting off a tee, basic fielding and base running. No outs or scores tracked — all about fun. Girls too young for softball Farm play here.
RookieAges 6–7
Co-ed. Pitching machine and coach soft-toss. Learning live pitching and building confidence. Girls too young for softball Farm play here.
FarmAges 7–8
Player-pitched games begin. Developing pitching, hitting, and fielding fundamentals.
MinorAges 9–10
Competitive play with full Little League rules. Up to 4 outfielders allowed.
MajorAges 10–12
Full Little League rules. Requires 1 year Minor experience (except age 12). All-Star eligible.

🥎 Softball

FarmAges 7–8
Entry-level softball. Girls ages 4–6 not yet eligible for Farm should register for T-Ball or Rookie (co-ed baseball divisions). 6-year-olds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
MinorAges 9–11
Player-pitched games, competitive play, facemasks required for pitcher/corners.
MajorAges 10–12
Full softball rules. Requires 1 year Minor experience (except age 12). All-Star eligible.
